Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Cd'Orlando (13-13) defeated 12th ranked Crema (11-15) in Capo d'Orlando 88-72 on Wednesday. Cd'Orlando dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Crema's 28. Swingman Simone Vecerina (196-1999) notched 15 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and naturalized Latvian Ricards Klanskis (201-2003) supported him with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds by center Riccardo Crespi (205-1997) did not help to save the game for Crema. Point guard Filippo Fazioli (192-1998, agency: SLN) added 15 points for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
