Everything went according to plan when eighth ranked Polonia (19-15) defeated 17th ranked Turow (9-25) in Zgorzelec 102-91 on Wednesday. Polonia shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Patryk Pelka (202-1989) notched 27 points to lead the effort and guard Jan Piliszczuk (194-2000) supported him with 25 points (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Four Polonia players scored in double figures. Polonia's coach Jakub Pendrakowski used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 28 points (made all of his seven free throws) by swingman Szymon Pawlak (192-1998) did not help to save the game for Turow. Guard Krzysztof Jakobczyk (183-1986) added 12 points and 7 assists for lost side. Polonia moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Pelplin. Loser Turow dropped to the sixteenth position with 25 games lost. They share it with Bytom.
