There was no surprise when 12th ranked Ragusa (11-15) lost on the road to tenth ranked Padova Unione (13-13) 97-87 on Thursday. Padova Unione forced 20 Ragusa turnovers. Mirco Turel (195-1994) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and center Ivan Morgillo (206-1992, agency: Players Group) supported him with 27 points and 7 rebounds. Padova Unione's coach Fabio Volpato used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 23 points and 5 rebounds by guard Andrea Sorrentino (190-1990) did not help to save the game for Ragusa. Guard Giovanni Ianelli (190-2000) added 17 points and 9 rebounds for the guests.
