Very expected game when 16th ranked Pozzuoli (1-25) lost on the road to seventh ranked Bisceglie (16-10) 83-68 on Thursday. Bisceglie forced 19 Pozzuoli turnovers. Strangely Pozzuoli outrebounded Bisceglie 38-25 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Filiberto Dri (190-1989) notched 15 points and 8 assists to lead the effort and Moldovan point guard Gabriel Dron (176-2002, agency: Players Group) supported him with 12 points and 4 assists. Five Bisceglie players scored in double figures. Bisceglie's coach Luciano Nunzi used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by guard Marco Cucco (189-1994) did not help to save the game for Pozzuoli. Montenegrin power forward Fatih Mehmedovic (205-2000, agency: SLN) added 15 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Bisceglie moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Omegna and Legnano K.
