Very predictable result when sixth ranked Spojnia (16-10) won against bottom-ranked Twarde Pierniki (6-20) in Stargard 92-82 on Friday. Spojnia dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Twarde Pierniki's 40. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American center Barret Benson (208-1997, college: SIU) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Courtney Fortson (180-1988, college: Arkansas) supported him with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Spojnia players scored in double figures. Spojnia's coach Sebastian Machowski used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by Serbian forward Stefan Kenic (204-1997, college: Chattanooga) did not help to save the game for Twarde Pierniki. American guard Sterling Gibbs (188-1993, college: UConn) added 19 points for the guests. Spojnia maintains sixth position with 16-10 record.
