We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 11th ranked Nanterre (11-15) was edged at home by twelfth ranked Fos-Provence (12-16) 67-64 on Saturday. Fos-Provence looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Guinean forward Ousmane Kaba (195-2002) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Willian Marie-Anais (201-2004) who added 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Fos-Provence players scored in double figures. Fos-Provence's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Lucas Fischer (193-2004) responded with 21 points and Simeon Kalemba (200-2003) scored 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Fos-Provence have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eleventh place. Nanterre lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with 15 games lost. Fos-Provence will meet Monaco (#13) on the road in the next round. Nanterre will play against Bourg and hope to secure a win.
