Gaziantep outrebounded Pinar Karsiyaka 46-35 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Emir Sivas (176-2005) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 7 rebounds and 13 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Turan Altunbas (-2005) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Five Gaziantep players scored in double figures. Huseyin Sevig (-2005) produced 9 points and 8 rebounds and Emir Bugay (-2005) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
