Regular Season Round 28: Blois - Le Portel 94-67

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Blois (20-7) smashed at home 17th ranked Le Portel (3-23) 94-67 on Saturday. Blois dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Le Portel's 42. They outrebounded Le Portel 47-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. Blois looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Le Portel's players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Halvine Dzellat-Diakeno (200-2004) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and Maxime Sconard (195-2003) who added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Blois players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Antoine Sobczak (187-2002) responded with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Kalvyn Ravin (182-2005) scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Blois maintains fourth position with 20-7 record. Loser Le Portel keeps the seventeenth place with 23 games lost. Blois will meet at home Le Mans (#16) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Le Portel will play against the league's second-placed ASVEL in Villeurbanne and hope to secure a win.
