Fifth defeat of league's leader Barca (21-5) against eleventh ranked Bilbao (12-14) 82-80 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Barca. American point guard Adam Smith (185-1992, college: Georgia Tech) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 4 assists. The other American import center Michale Kyser (208-1991, college: Louisiana Tech) contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Bilbao players scored in double figures. The former international Alex Abrines (198-1993) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and the former international Nikola Mirotic (208-1991) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Barca. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Bilbao moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Obradoiro. Barca at the other side dropped to the second position with five games lost.
