Very predictable result when fourth ranked Zaragoza (24-8) outscored at home 10th ranked Bembibre (12-17) 55-35 on Sunday. Zaragoza forced 19 Bembibre turnovers and outrebounded them 42-20 including a 32-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Montenegrin center Markeisha Gatling (196-1992, college: NC State) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Belgian center Serena-Lynn Geldof (197-1997, college: Miami, FL) who added 6 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Zaragoza's coach Carlos Cantero used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Dutch forward Laura Westerik (176-1998) responded with 9 points and 7 rebounds and American center Vanessa Austin (185, college: CSUB) scored 10 points. Zaragoza have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Loser Bembibre keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Ensino and IDK Eustotren.
