Regular Season Round 27: Olimpic Sheki - Neftci 78-112

There was no surprise when 8th ranked Olimpic Sheki (2-23) was crushed at home by sixth ranked Neftci (9-16) 112-78 on Sunday. Neftci looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was a great evening for Ukrainian guard Yuri Kondrakov (191-1996, agency: BIG) who led his team to a victory scoring 39 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals. Georgian Davit Lomidze (196-1997) helped adding 15 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals. Four Neftci players scored in double figures. Neftci's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American power forward Davante Cooper (208-1994, college: WSU) with 27 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and the other American import point guard Larry Robinson III (182-1999, college: New Orleans) scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Neftci maintains sixth place with 9-16 record. Olimpic Sheki lost their twentieth game in a row. They stay dead last with 23 lost games.
