Very expected game in Hod Hasharon where Gilboa Galil was crushed by Bnei Hasharon 84-60 on Monday. It was a great shooting night for Bnei Hasharon especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Americans were the main players on the court. Chris Babb (196-1990, college: Iowa St.) fired 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Maurice Kemp (203-1991, college: ECU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Four Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. Guard Tony Carr (196-1997, college: Penn St., agency: Octagon Europe) produced 21 points and 4 assists and guard London Perrantes (187-1994, college: Virginia) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bnei Hasharon will meet Hapoel Beer Sheva on the road in the next round. Gilboa Galil will play against E.Kiryat Ata and hope to secure a win.
