There was an upset when higher ranked Lille Metropole (18-10) was defeated at home by ninth ranked ASA (14-14) 92-84 on Tuesday. ASA made 31-of-36 free shots (86.1 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Lille Metropole turnovers. Serbian power forward Strahinja Gavrilovic (206-1993, college: USC) fired 20 points and 6 assists for the winners. Naturalized Spanish guard Tom Digbeu (195-2001) chipped in 22 points. Forward Carl Ponsar (203-1997) produced 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and center Bastien Vautier (210-1998) added 13 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. ASA maintains ninth position with 14-14 record.
