No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked JA Vichy (16-12) outleveled at home 10th ranked Etoile Angers (13-15) 100-70 on Tuesday. JA Vichy dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Etoile Angers' 32. JA Vichy forced 21 Etoile Angers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Forward Ivan Fevrier (204-1999) fired 29 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American guard Tray Boyd III (193-1998, college: ETSU) chipped in 24 points and 6 assists. American forward Michael Akuchie (203-1998, college: YSU, agency: Inception Sports) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Shawn Tanner (197-2001) added 10 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Five Etoile Angers players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
