Rather predictable result in Velika Gorica where seventh ranked Dinamo (11-16) edged 9th ranked Gorica (8-19) 84-83 on Wednesday. Dinamo looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Marin Vrucinic (186-1997) who scored 23 points and 6 assists. Tomislav Cvitkovic (206-1998) chipped in 16 points. The former international Karlo Uljarevic (190-1998, agency: AltusBasket) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals and forward Jure Gunjina (203-1992, college: GSW) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Dinamo maintains seventh place with 11-16 record. Loser Gorica keeps the ninth position with 19 games lost. They share it with Alkar and Zabok. Dinamo will meet bottom-ranked Skrljevo (#12) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Gorica will play against Zabok and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
