The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Targoviste won third quarter 21-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American center Sara Hamson (201, college: BYU, agency: LBM Management) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Mihaela Mazilu (170-2002) chipped in 22 points and 5 assists. The former international guard Ancuta Stoenescu (175-1980) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists and forward Teodora Dumitru (182-2001) added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Targoviste players scored in double figures.
