Everything went according to plan in Bernareggio where sixth ranked Brianza Casa (15-12) beat 16th ranked Palermo (3-23) 78-60 on Saturday. They outrebounded Palermo 35-18 including 23 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Alessandro Bertini (195-2002) who scored 13 points. Matteo Galassi (185-1998) chipped in 12 points. Four Brianza Casa players scored in double figures. Brianza Casa's coach Nazareno Lombardi used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jona Di Giuliomaria (191-2002) who recorded 13 points and 6 assists and guard Andrea Birra (187-2002) added 16 points respectively.
