There was a surprise result when tenth ranked Ensino (13-17) edged on the road higher ranked Gernika (17-14) 73-71 on Saturday. The former international forward Paula Ginzo (187-1998) nailed 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and guard Ane Olaeta (163, college: CBU) accounted for 10 points and 6 assists. Four Ensino players scored in double figures. American swingman Julie Wojta (185-1989, college: Green Bay) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and Italian swingman Laura Spreafico (183-1991, agency: LBM Management) added 20 points respectively for Gernika in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Ensino moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Bembibre. Loser Gernika keeps the fifth position with 14 games lost.
