Very predictable result when third ranked Costa Masnaga (22-4) defeated at home 9th ranked Carugate (10-16) 74-56 on Saturday. They outrebounded Carugate 50-25 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Costa Masnaga looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was German forward Patricia Brossmann (183-1997, college: San Diego) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Angelica Tibe (185-1996) chipped in 8 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Croatian forward Iva Belosevic (191-1997, college: UTRGV) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and Canadian forward Christina Morra (188-2000, college: Wake Forest) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Costa Masnaga have a solid four-game winning streak.
