Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Desio (16-11) defeated at home 7th ranked Cd'Orlando (13-14) 89-73 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was power forward Giacomo Maspero (204-1992) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Mattia Molteni (191-1996) chipped in 23 points and 8 rebounds. Desio's coach Edoardo Gallazzi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Thomas Binelli (208-1999, college: EMU, agency: Interperformances) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and guard Matteo Lagana (189-2000) added 14 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Desio maintains fourth place with 16-11 record, which they share with Omegna and Bisceglie. Loser Cd'Orlando dropped to the ninth position with 14 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Desio will meet Vicenza (#8) on the road in the next round.
