We should mention about the upset which took place in Blois, where higher ranked Le Mans (15-14) lost to sixteenth ranked ADA Blois (11-18) in a road game 68-72 on Saturday. Mali forward Amadou Sow (206-1998, college: UCSB) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and American guard Robert Johnson (192-1995, college: Indiana) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. American guard Matt Morgan (188-1997, college: Cornell) responded with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import power forward Josh Carlton (211-1999, college: Houston) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. ADA Blois moved-up to fifteenth place. Loser Le Mans keeps the seventh position with 14 games lost. ADA Blois will meet higher ranked Limoges CSP Elite (#14) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Le Mans will play against Paris (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
