Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Verona (8-18) was outplayed at home by second ranked Milano (19-7) 83-61 on Sunday. Milano made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. The game was dominated by American players. Guard Billy Baron (188-1990, college: Canisius) scored 13 points to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Devon Hall (196-1995, college: Virginia, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 15 points during the contest. Justin Simon (196-1996, college: St.John's) responded with 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Xavier Johnson (201-1993, college: Colorado) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains second position with 19-7 record behind leader Virtus BO. Newly promoted Verona stay at the bottom place with 18 games lost.
