Regular Season Round 27: Manresa - Granada 86-77

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 15th ranked Granada (8-19) was defeated on the road by sixteenth ranked Manresa (8-19) 86-77 on Sunday. Manresa looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Devin Robinson (203-1995, college: Florida) who scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. His fellow American import point guard Jerrick Harding (185-1998, college: Weber St.) chipped in 18 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Liberian-American guard Thomas Bropleh (196-1991, college: Boise St.) who recorded 17 points and American forward Luke Maye (203-1997, college: UNC) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Manresa moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with defeated Granada. Granada lost third consecutive game. Manresa will meet higher ranked Zaragoza (#13) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Granada will play against the league's leader Barca where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
