There was no surprise when 16th ranked Pozzuoli (1-26) was defeated at home by first ranked RO Luiss (22-4) 95-79 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was forward Marco Legnini (198-1996) who scored 25 points and 7 rebounds. Matija Jovovic (198-1999) chipped in 20 points. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Marco Cucco (189-1994) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 assists and Simone Lucarelli (197-1996) added 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. RO Luiss have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 22-4 record.
