Regular Season Round 27: Fabo Herons - Oleggio 87-58

Everything went according to plan in Montecatini where seventh ranked Fabo Herons (16-8) outscored 12th ranked Oleggio (10-17) 87-58 on Sunday. Fabo Herons dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Oleggio's 30. Fabo Herons forced 22 Oleggio turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Daniele Dell'Uomo (189-1998) who scored 18 points and 5 assists. Center Antonio Lorenzetti (196-1995) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. Four Fabo Herons players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Andrea Colussa (202-2000) who recorded 12 points and 5 rebounds and Tommaso Ingrosso (206-1992, college: W.Texas CC) added 11 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fabo Herons have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place. Loser Oleggio dropped to the eleventh position with 17 games lost. They share it with Teramo and Trinita. Fabo Herons will meet league's leader Livorno Libertas on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
