Regular Season Round 27: Sant Antimo - Corato Adr. 81-63

Everything went according to plan in Napoli where fifth ranked Sant Antimo (18-9) beat 14th ranked Corato Adr. (7-20) 81-63 on Sunday. They outrebounded Corato Adr. 45-31 including 31 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was power forward Mirko Gloria (203-1995, agency: Players Group) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Fabio Montanari (180-2001) chipped in 19 points. Four Sant Antimo players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Francesco Infante (204-1992) who recorded 17 points and point guard Mauro Stella (190-1984) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sant Antimo moved-up to third place, which they share with San Vendemiano. Corato Adr. lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 20 games lost. Sant Antimo will meet league's leader RO Luiss in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Corato Adr. will play against Roseto (#3) and hope to secure a win.
