Very predictable result when second ranked ASVEL (24-6) smashed on the road 13th ranked Nanterre (11-18) 95-60 on Wednesday. They outrebounded Nanterre 42-22 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. ASVEL looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Nanterre's players. The best player for the winners was Gambian center Babacar Mbye (212-2002) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Noah Manet (194-2004) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Noa Calabre (186-2005) who recorded 14 points and 5 assists and point guard Nathan Zulemie (175-2004) added 12 points respectively. Four Nanterre players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ASVEL have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 24-6 record having just one point less than leader Cholet. Nanterre lost seventh consecutive game.
