Rather predictable result in Madrid where fifth ranked Tenerife Naut. (16-9) outscored 8th ranked Getafe (11-13) 76-54 on Saturday. Tenerife Naut. dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Getafe's 30. It was a great evening for swingman Imobach Gonzalez (193-1993) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Javier Herreros (198-1994) helped adding 15 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was point guard Pablo Perez (182-1997) with 13 points and 4 assists and Ben Merabli scored 6 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tenerife Naut. have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Getafe dropped to the seventh position with 13 games lost. They share it with Infante.
