Very predictable result when fourth ranked Tarragona (17-9) beat at home 10th ranked Martinenc (11-15) 86-81 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Tarragona outrebounded Martinenc 41-29 including 19 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for Marc Buscail (-2003) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard David Fernandez (179-1991) helped adding 14 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Aboubakar Samake (188-1998) with 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Josep Sole (195-1997) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Five Tarragona and four Martinenc players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Tarragona moved-up to third place, which they share with Obradoiro S. Martinenc lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with 15 games lost. They share it with 4 other teams.
