There was an upset in Renedo de Pielagos where higher ranked Santurtzi (14-12) was crushed by eleventh ranked Pas Pielagos (10-16) 90-59 on Saturday. It was a great evening for DR Congolese forward Cedric Belemene (199-1996, college: Tampa) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Pablo Fernandez (201-2000) helped adding 19 points. Four Pas Pielagos players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Imanol Artinano (203-1995, college: ABU) with 11 points and 8 rebounds and guard Bingen Perez (175-2001) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pas Pielagos moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Santurtzi dropped to the fifth position with 12 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
