Round in EBA means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Igualada where host Igualada (11-15) edged league's leader Barca 2 (20-6) 67-66 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Barca 2. The best player for the winners was center Eduard Tejero (196-1992) who scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. Carles Fons (189-1991) chipped in 15 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Lithuanian forward Kasparas Jakucionis (187-2006) who recorded 31 points and 9 rebounds and forward Martin Iglesias (202-2004, agency: BIG) added 13 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Igualada have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Barca 2 at the other side dropped to the second position with six games lost. They share it with Puerto Sagunto and Gijon. They were replaced at the leadership position by Huelva CD.
