There was an upset when higher ranked JL Bourg (18-12) lost on the road to seventeenth ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (11-19) 87-79 on Sunday. Pau-Lacq-Orthez dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to JL Bourg's 34. American point guard Michael Stockton (185-1989, college: Westminster, UT) notched 25 points and 6 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Zimbabwean power forward Vitalis Chikoko (208-1991) supported him with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Even 15 points and 7 rebounds by the former international power forward Pierre Pelos (205-1992) did not help to save the game for JL Bourg. The former international point guard Axel Julien (182-1992) added 13 points and 4 assists. Four JL Bourg players scored in double figures. JL Bourg's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Pau-Lacq-Orthez moved-up to sixteenth place, which they share with Nancy. Loser JL Bourg dropped to the fourth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Dijon.
