Very expected game in Zagreb where 12th ranked Alkar (8-22) was crushed by seventh ranked Dinamo (13-17) 99-72 on Tuesday. Dinamo made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Alkar turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Dinamo looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Alkar's players. The best player for the winners was swingman Ivan Vucic (195-1996) who scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). The former international forward Ivan Novacic (201-1985) chipped in 15 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Bosnian center Imran Polutak (209-1996) produced 15 points and 8 rebounds and American swingman Christian Peevy (201-1998, college: Lynn) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Alkar players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dinamo moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Dubrava and Sibenka. Alkar lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 22 games lost. Dinamo's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Zagreb to the arena Bosco.
