Second Stage Round 4: H.Tel-Aviv - H.Jerusalem 76-85

The game between Top Four teams took place in Tel Aviv. Their biggest opponent host Hapoel Tel-Aviv (19-6) lost to third ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (19-7) 85-76. Hapoel Jerusalem made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Hapoel Tel-Aviv's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Zachary Hankins (211-1996, college: Xavier) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and Trinidad and Tobago-American Khadeen Carrington (193-1995, college: Seton Hall) who added 24 points during the contest. Four Hapoel Jerusalem players scored in double figures. Hapoel Jerusalem's coach Aleksandar Dzikic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American guard Xavier Munford (193-1992, college: URI) responded with 30 points and his fellow American import guard JCovan Brown (188-1990, college: Texas) scored 15 points. Hapoel Jerusalem have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 19-7 record having just one point less than leader Bnei Hertzeliya. Hapoel Tel-Aviv at the other side keeps the second place with six games lost. Hapoel Jerusalem are looking forward to face league's leader Maccabi Tel-Aviv in Tel Aviv in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will play at home against Ironi Nes-Ziona and is hoping to win this game.
