Regular Season Round 29: Zastal - Slask 67-85

EBL top team - WKS Slask (22-7) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat eighth ranked Enea Zastal (16-13) in Zielona Gora 85-67. WKS Slask looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when WKS Slask made 8 blocks. International point guard Lukasz Kolenda (195-1999) nailed 24 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Belarusian center Artsiom Parakhouski (211-1987, college: Radford) accounted for 8 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks. Serbian Dusan Kutlesic (200-1994) came up with 17 points and 7 assists and Serbian power forward Aleksandar Zecevic (207-1996, college: FAU) added 11 points respectively for Enea Zastal in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 22-7 record. Enea Zastal at the other side keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Czarni. WKS Slask will meet at home Sokol (#12) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Enea Zastal will play against Legia (#4) in Warszawa and hope to secure a win.
