We should mention about the upset which took place in Zaragoza, where higher ranked Joventut (18-13) lost to thirteenth ranked Zaragoza (11-19) in a road game 77-87 on Saturday. Zaragoza made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Zaragoza especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. It was a great evening for Serbian Borisa Simanic (210-1998) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Joventut lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Gran Canaria. Zaragoza will meet Granada (#17) on the road in the next round. Joventut will play against the league's second-placed Baskonia (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
