Everything went according to plan when tenth ranked Fiorenzuola (14-15) edged on the road 13th ranked Matelica (8-20) 77-75 on Sunday. Forward Jacopo Preti (200-1994) notched 31 points to lead the effort and point guard Noah Giacche (175-2001) supported him with 8 points and 7 rebounds. Even 19 points and 7 rebounds by guard Gianpaolo Riccio (193-1996, college: Ave Maria) did not help to save the game for Matelica. Forward Samuele Polselli (197-2001) added 12 points and 8 rebounds. Fiorenzuola moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Imola and Ancona. Newly promoted Matelica keeps the thirteenth position with 20 games lost.
