Very predictable result when fifth ranked Valladolid (21-12) beat at home bottom-ranked Albacete (7-26) 83-70 on Friday. Valladolid made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Valladolid outrebounded Albacete 36-24 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Congolese forward Romaric Belemene (202-1997) stepped up and scored 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Dutch center Lucas NGuessan (213-1997, college: ETSU) chipped in 16 points. Four Valladolid players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Ivan Aurrecoechea (204-1995, college: NM State) with 15 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Guillem Ferrando (186-2002) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds.
