Important game to mention about took place in Cholet. Seventh ranked Cholet Basket (18-16) saved a 1-point victory at home edging much higher ranked Metropolitans (24-11) 69-68 on Friday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. Cholet Basket shot 20 for 29 from the free-throw line, while Metropolitans only scored three points from the stripe. Boris Dallo (196-1994) notched 27 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and American point guard TJ Campbell (175-1988, college: Portland) supported him with 14 points and 5 assists. Cholet Basket's coach Laurent Vila allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even a double-double of 17 points and 15 rebounds by international forward Victor Wembanyama (224-2004) did not help to save the game for Metropolitans. American guard DeVante Jones (186-1998, college: Michigan) added 15 points and 6 assists for lost side. Cholet Basket maintains seventh position with 18-16 record.
