The game was mostly controlled by Gmunden Swans. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels managed to win third quarter 26-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gmunden Swans made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The former international guard Daniel Friedrich (181-1992) orchestrated the victory by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 6 assists. American power forward Urald King (198-1990, college: SE Oklahoma) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. American-Nigerian guard Austen Awosika (190-1998, college: CS Fullerton) answered with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and American power forward Chase Jeter (208-1997, college: Arizona) added 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Raiffeisen Flyers Wels. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
