Telekom Baskets made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American-North Macedonian point guard TJ Shorts (175-1997, college: UC Davis) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 4 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). American Tyson Ward (198-1997, college: NDSU) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Shorts is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The former international point guard Nelson Weidemann (190-1999) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 assists and the former international power forward Jonas Richter (206-1997) added 17 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Chemnitz. Four Chemnitz players scored in double figures. Chemnitz's coach Rodrigo Pastore rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
