There was an upset when higher ranked Valencia (17-17) was edged at home by twelfth ranked Rio Breogan (14-20) 80-77 on Wednesday. American power forward Ethan Happ (208-1996, college: Wisconsin) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and German point guard Justus Hollatz (191-2001) chipped in 17 points during the contest. At the losing side American-Armenian guard Chris Jones (188-1993, college: Angelo St.) responded with 20 points and 7 assists and Montenegrin center Bojan Dubljevic (205-1991) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Rio Breogan moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Bilbao and Obradoiro. Loser Valencia keeps the eighth position with 17 games lost.
