Fenerbahce players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Johnathan Motley (208-1995, college: Baylor) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). The former international guard Sehmus Hazer (190-1999) contributed with 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. Fenerbahce's coach Dimitris Itoudis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Senegalese center Boubacar Toure (213-1995, college: EMU) answered with 23 points and 9 rebounds and American power forward Brady Manek (206-1998, college: UNC) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Tofas.
