Samsunspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Senegalese center Abdoulaye Gueye (206-1994, college: Georgia Tech) stepped up and scored 6 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and American point guard Diante Watkins (175-1990, college: RMU) chipped in 6 points and 11 assists. At the losing side forward Can Ozcan (202-1989) responded with 5 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian center Vladimir Stimac (210-1987) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
