Pinar Karsiyaka looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Turk Telekom helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Dominican Angel Delgado (208-1994, college: Seton Hall) who scored 25 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Colombian swingman Braian Angola-Rodas (198-1994, college: FSU) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Pinar Karsiyaka players scored in double figures. American guard Jerian Grant (196-1992, college: Notre Dame) produced 26 points and 7 assists (was perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line !!!) and point guard Tony Taylor (184-1990, college: GWU) added 21 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
