Pozega was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 8-point lead after three quarters before a 24-7 charge of UBI Graz, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Pozega to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded Pozega 51-26 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Simone Sill (182-1999) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Bosnian forward Eni Nizamic (183-1999) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. UBI Graz's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Emilija Podrug (190-1979) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and Serbian Nevena Vuckovic (177-1998) added 19 points and 5 steals respectively for lost side. Four Pozega players scored in double figures. UBI Graz will meet at home Celje in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pozega will play against Partizan in Beograd and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
