Regular Season Round 1: Centrum - Nidaros Jets 62-73

Not a big story in a game in Oslo where Centrum was defeated by Nidaros Jets 73-62 on Saturday. Nidaros Jets forced 19 Centrum turnovers and outrebounded them 39-27 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. International forward Emil Grosse (208-2003) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Italian Dominic Borgialli (-2001) chipped in 20 points and 5 steals. The former international point guard Johan Flaa (185-1999, college: Santa Rosa JC) produced 22 points and 4 assists and the former international power forward Johannes Dolven (204-1996, college: Barry) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Nidaros Jets will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Centrum will play against Asker Aliens and hope to win that game.
