Regular Season Round 2: Dijon - Cholet 60-62

A very close game took place in Dijon between Cholet Basket and JDA Dijon. Cholet Basket got a very close victory on the road over JDA Dijon. Cholet Basket managed to escape with a 2-point win 62-60 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Czech Vojtech Hruban (202-1989) notched 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and American Gerry Blakes (193-1993, college: Arizona St., agency: BIG) supported him with 7 points and 8 rebounds. Even 12 points and 7 rebounds by Bosnian forward Aleksandar Lazic (203-1996) did not help to save the game for JDA Dijon. Slovenian Gregor Hrovat (196-1994, agency: Octagon Europe) added 15 points for the hosts. Four JDA Dijon players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Cholet Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. JDA Dijon will play against Sluc Nancy and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
