Regular Season Round 1: Bourges - Landes 88-70

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Landes on the court of Bourges on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Bourges 88-70. Bourges forced 20 Landes turnovers. The former international Sarah Michel (180-1989) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Canadian center Kayla Alexander (193-1991, college: Syracuse) chipped in 15 points and 12 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Bourges players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Samantha Fuehring (191, college: Louisville) responded with 15 points and the other American import point guard Alexis Peterson (173-1995, college: Syracuse) scored 6 points. Bourges is looking forward to face Bretagne in Pleyber-Christ in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
