Regular Season Round 3: Ammerud Bskt - Froya Basket 44-101

Froya Basket (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed Ammerud Bskt (0-2) in Oslo 101-44. Froya Basket made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game, while Ammerud Bskt only scored one point from the stripe. Froya Basket forced 23 Ammerud Bskt turnovers and had a 35-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a quality performance for Serbian Ognjen Nisavic (195-1992) who led the winners and scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Canadian forward JD Muila (203-1999, college: SIU) accounted for 6 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Four Froya Basket players scored in double figures. Ammerud Bskt's coach already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Froya Basket will meet at home Nidaros Jets (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ammerud Bskt's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Oslo to the arena Centrum.
